Willoughby Community Hall painted by Al Colton

Willoughby Community Hall painted by Al Colton

Al Colton painted the Willoughby Hall for a community fundraiser organized by the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery (Historic Trust). The 2010 Concert at Chief Sepass Theatre, in memory of Shirley and Roy Baker, raised funds to help with the restoration of the hall. Colton’s painting is now on permanent display in the restored Willoughby Hall as a reminder of the community’s generosity.
A Grand Re-Opening of the Willoughby Community Hall will be held on the afternoon of May 24, 2014.
