The Willoughby Community Hall has served the community for 89 years. The Hall is under restoration with a new foundation and will continue to serve the Willoughby community. On Saturday evening at the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery the Hall’s volunteers were recognized. On behalf of everyone who came to the 2010 Heritage Matters Concert, Mary Martini presented Karl Driese, the President of the Hall Society, with an original Al Colton painting of the Hall. Karl said the painting will become part of the decor in the newly restored community hall.
