HERITAGE MATTERS: Time capsule event marks Fort IGA progress

Lee Family’s grocery store making reconstruction progress in Fort Langley

Join the Lee Family at 2 pm on Saturday June 16, 2012 for the time capsule event to mark progress in the construction of their new grocery store. The new store at the corner of Mavis and Church will replace the old Fort IGA destroyed by fire in January 2011. Mayor Jack Froese and Marcon’s Nick Paolella will assist the Lee Family in burying a time capsule under the store’s concrete floor which will be poured on Monday.
