NOW SHOWING: Alan Wylie’s Exhibition, ‘Late Afternoon’

The Birthplace of B.C. Gallery is now showing “Late Afternoon”, an exhibition of oil, acylic and watercolour paintings by Alan Wylie. The twenty piece show runs for the month of July 2010.
Alan Wylie was born in Scotland and graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a degree in Mural Design and Mosaics. After immigrating to Nova Scotia in 1967, he began a career as a full-time artist and teacher. Alan has won numerous awards internationally, including the Beechmont First and Gold Medallion at the Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors as well as the Federation of Canadian Artists’ Grand Prize.
