Volunteer Appreciation: Canadian Diabetes Association

2010 Volunteer Appreciation held at the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery

The Fraser Valley Region of the Canadian Diabetes Association hosted “the Magic of our Volunteers” at the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery on Tuesday evening (May 18, 2010). The volunteer recognition event had the Gallery’s current show, “the Magic of the Sea”, as the perfect backdrop to celebrate the difference that volunteers make to the Association.
A major fundraiser featuring ABBA Cadabra at the Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2010. Music for Life V: An Evening of Song & Entertainment Benefitting the Canadian Diabetes Association is presented by the Foresters, Douglas Branch and proceeds will help support the search for a cure for diabetes.
If you would like to help or learn more about the Canadian Diabetes Association contact Catherine Young or Rachel Clark at the CDA Fraser Valley Region 604 596-5630.
