Gallery features guest artist, King Richard Brodeur

Richard Brodeur with Brenda and Kurt Alberts at their Gallery

The Birthplace of B.C. Gallery has welcomed, special guest artist, Richard “King Richard” Brodeur, as part of the Art on Ice Show. Richard is fondly remembered for his eight outstanding seasons with the Vancouver Canucks as their star goalie. But during his entire NHL career he also was passionate about his artwork. Now having traded his hockey stick for paint brushes, Richard’s art on ice can be seen on canvas instead of the hockey rink. Richard will be at the Gallery on Sunday (March 28). His paintings will be in the Art on Ice show from March 27 to April 11, 2010. Come to the show and meet other gallery artists this weekend and see the different interpretations of Art on Ice, from hockey to frozen landscapes to Olympic moments.
