Watercolour artist, Heidi Lambert, painting on thin ice

Art on Ice Exhibition will include Heidi Lambert’s watercolour painting “Thin Ice”

Respected watercolour artist, Heidi Lambert, has completed her entry “Thin Ice” for the upcoming exhibition Art on Ice at the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery. The show is now an annual event “facing off” with a Hockey Night in Gallery, this year featuring painter and Canucks alumnus, Richard Brodeur (see Feb 11, 2010 post “Gallery Artist Carries Torch …”).
Heidi and other gallery artists have let their imaginations and paint brushes create a diverse range of interpretations of Art on Ice. Working in watercolours, as every artist knows, is painting with no net. There is no forgiveness in that medium. Heidi amazes us all by painting with no net over thin ice! Visit the Gallery Website to see more paintings by Heidi Lambert with the link in the right hand margin.
