Cole Armour, talent showdown winner, sings for heritage

Cole Armour with Brenda and Kurt planning Oct 17th heritage fundraiser

In 2008 and 2009 Cole Armour performed at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival and brought the audience to their feet. So began a journey into the world of music for an extraordinary young man.
Cole was only nine years old when he discovered the power of music and with that he realized the enjoyment he gave other people when they heard him sing.
Other performances followed, the Kiwanis Fraser Valley International Music Festival where he took home gold in every category he entered.
He won the B.C. Junior Talent Search held at the Cloverdale Rodeo and, incredibly, Cole became the first child ever to win PNE’s Red Robinson Talent Showdown which began in 1961.
On Sunday evening, October 17, 2010 Cole will perform in the Chief Seapass Theatre of the Langley Fine Arts School in Fort Langley.
The musical theatre night produced by the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery will include other extraordinary musicians and raise funds for preserving Langley’s heritage.
Stay tuned for more updates and it’s not too early to reserve your tickets.
Call the Gallery now for tickets at 604 882-1191.
